Privacy Policy

We assume you value your privacy as much as you value positive reinforcement.

Data Collection

We collect absolutely nothing. Nothing. Nada. Zip.

Frame.Ego runs entirely locally on your browser. No data is ever transmitted back to any servers. Everything is secure and this project is open source on GitHub if anyone wants to check the source code. We don't have servers. We couldn't afford them even if we wanted them. We don't see your video content, your comments, your project names, or how many times you've re-watched your own cut.

Everything is ephemeral. The comments we inject are cosmetic only. They are not saved to Frame.io's databases, they don't notify your team, and they disappear instantly when you refresh the page or disable the extension. It's like a digital daydream that only you (and anyone looking over your shoulder) can see.

Cookies

We prefer chocolate chip, but digitally speaking? We don't use them.

Since we account for zero users and save zero preferences on a server, we have no need to track you. The only thing we might use is your browser's local storage to remember if you prefer "Mild" or "Unhinged" praise mode, simply so you don't have to reset it every time.

Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information, mostly because we don't have it.

We are not affiliated with Frame.io, Adobe, or any production studios. This is a parody project made for entertainment purposes and to boost the fragile egos of creative professionals everywhere.

Contact

If you have questions about this policy, or just want to tell us we're pretty, you can shout into the void or check out the project on GitHub.
