Building My Own Analog Pedalboard, One Piece at a Time
I’ve been slowly building out a fully handmade guitar rig, and this pedalboard is one of the projects I’m most proud of. (Almost) every pedal on it is something I built from scratch—old-school analog circuits, hand-assembled PCBs, custom graphics, and a few hand-painted enclosures for good measure. To tie it all together, I designed and built the board itself using aluminium extrusion and 3D-printed parts, with a tidy battery-powered supply tucked underneath so the whole setup stays portable and clutter-free.
The collection includes everything from fuzzes and delays to tremolo, reverb, and a compact amp-sim pedal for heavier tones. It pairs nicely with the 3D-printed guitar I built earlier, and it’s another step toward the goal of having an entirely handmade signal chain. Below are the photos and build details—hope you enjoy the look behind the project.
